Beauty Purchases; 5/19/22

Good morning Beauties! What did you purchase this week? Were there any favorites or repeat purchases or duds?! LOL Let us know!

Most of my things were purchased last week but arrived this week:

NYX - Thick It, Stick It in Taupe - not for me. Was a gloppy mess and didn't like how it went on. Took it right off. Know this type of brow product works for many but its not for me. Have tried a couple of them but will now stick with brow pencils.

EM Cosmetics - Received the Heaven's Glow Blush in Venetian Rose and Tinted Lip Luminizer in Mona Lisa. Both are beautiful. The blush is pigmented but goes on so nicely, blends easily and lasted all day. The lippie is a different color than I have and works perfectly with the Baroque blush. The more I buy from this brand, the more I want. The quality is so good.

L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara in Cobalt blue and Burgundy. Bought the Burgundy on on a whim while in CVS. Tried it on and its ok. Don't really see the burgundy color, not that I would want to see burgundy lashes but maybe just a hint would be good. Haven't tried the blue one yet. These were bought just for fun and a reminder of my younger days.

Milani - Rose lip sugar scrub. I love their lip scrubs and masks. This has been out of stock for so long and I have the Rose lip mask so wanted this. Have their cherry lip scrub too. Such good products and good prices too.

ULTA - Their matte face primer. It has lots of good reviews and bought it mostly for my T-zone. Have only tried it once and it seems fine. Will give it more of a chance, just haven't worn much makeup this week.

Bought the TS from HSN yesterday but will talk about those after I receive them.

@JudyL Hi everyone. I purchased No 7 Protect & Perfect Advanced All in One Foundation SPF 50. Medium coverage, matte natural finish. The shade I selected was a perfect match which is rare. Beautiful finish on the skin and so worth $15.99. I purchased at Target online. 24 hour hydration. If you can get a match with your skin, you will love this product.

Hi beauties. I made a few purchases this week:

Essence Lash Princess. Haven't opened yet. But put in stash based on what I've read about it and the recs from here. Right now loving the Westmore mascara that I bought last year and had un-opened.

Touch In Sol: No Pore Problem. A light weight primer that looked interesting. I've been using a primer a lot instead of foundation while continuing to wear a face mask part of the time (depending on where I am and what the infection rate is in my area).

Bee Stunning Dermabrasion Wand for the body: Going to try self tanner again and needed to up the exfoliation on my feet and legs. Used one time (gently) and like the results so far.

@JudyL I looked at the Cobalt mascara but didn't buy because of the color. Please let us know what you think of it. I wore navy in the past and loved it and am looking for that. Seems L'Oreal made one that is sold out and I don't want "blue". I have several navy liners that I wear a lot. The dark green mascara was tempting.....

That's it for me. Trying to keep purchases low as I use up stashed items.

I actually purchased from Beauty Pie their 'Sexy Berry " spring all star 6 piece kit ( member price $54 ) . I am currently using and loving these"Sexy Berry " products already. The color was a colabaration with makeup artist Patti Dubroff . The kit includes

Supercheek cream blush ,Shine up lipcolor balm stick ,wondergel long wear lip liner all in the color Sexy Berry . Also included is the Luminizing wand highlighter in Champagne ,Clear eyebrow gel and Long wear cream shadow stick in "Brazillionare. I have 2 of the cream stick eyeshadows(Teddy Bare and Pink Velet ) and they are great . I also ordered from Walmart Procure Rosacare gel moisturizer . I don't have rosacea but I do have some acne marks and this is alightweight moisturizer for summer . Have a wownderful day !

Dose Of Colors is having a 50% off anniversary sale. I just recently tried a set of makeup that includes foundation, concealer, and sponge and really liked it. (That is a specially priced set and is not included in the sale.) For the sale I ordered a mauve eyeshadow pallette, all matte shades, that looks really pretty. On sale it was $16, I believe. I also ordered a "truffle" lip set that includes a liquid lipstick and a gloss. The color was beautiful and I think it was also $16 on sale.

Elf Eyebrow Wax Pencil . Bought at the dollar (twenty-five) store. It's 16x cheaper than Fenty's wax pencil
