Good morning!  Let us know what you purchased this past week and how you like it!

My purchases:

Naturium - both of these are repeat purchases for me.  Use them regularly - Niacinamide 12% and Retinol Complex Serum.

I had mentioned in another post that the Tweak'd Shampoo & Conditioner that I bought as a TS last January wasn't working for me.  Didn't seem to cleanse my hair as well as my other Tweak'd product that I had run out of.  Was starting to look for a new shampoo and conditioner.  Then someone mentioned a deal on the Q for Tweak'd and lo and behold my previous shampoo and conditioner was offered at a good price so I bought a set.  Well, the tracking says it was shipped on the 6th but it hasn't updated since.  It shipped from So Calif and I'm in the Bay Area so it doesn't have far to go, however, it seems its not moving.  Will give it a few more days then will call CS.

Sephora Collection - powder bronzer in Sicily, which is their lightest shade.  This is such a nice product.  It's a bit light on me but I like that.  Adds just the right touch.  The next shade up was not a good match - too dark and warm.

Wishing everyone a good day!

Re: Beauty Purchases; 5/11/23

About a month ago I switch my daily mositurizer/SPF from Neutrogena Hydroboost City Sheild to Elf Holy Hydration.  I have been breaking out so I think the Holy Hydration is not right for me.  I purchased Neutrogena Hydroboost City Shield on-line since I have a hard time finding it in stores.  I also purchased sun protection for body and face.

[ Edited ]

Good morning from the Wisconsin Dells!  DH and I have been coming here for an annual event for several years. Last week and early this week, I was in sweet misery with a pretty serious middle ear infection and all that entailed.  My NP prescribed an antibiotic which I started last Friday and it just wasn't cutting it.  I returned to her office Tuesday and asked for something stronger.  She agreed. She put me on one I've never had before.  Until I woke up yesterday morning, this trip was on hold. I'm not 100%, but so much better than I was. Since the infection affected my jaw/TMJ area, I had been unable to open my mouth or chew anything.  I lived on scrambled eggs, yogurt, and chia pudding for most of the week.  Today I think pizza tops will be safe but probably not ready for salad yet.

These are my recent purchases-

Perlier Pearls of Youth Serum A/S - received new shipment

Revlon Illuminance Skin-Caring Liquid Foundation (Creamy Natural) - the shade is  too light but I am trying to work with it.  I gave it a test drive yesterday and liked it, have it on today too.  If I repurchase in the future I'll try a different shade.

Cheap pH Adjusting Lip Balm (3 shades in the set) - turned out to be junk.  The color change wasn’t bad, but it vanished within a couple of minutes.  Waste of money. They were very inexpensive but I’m sending them back.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Megaglo Blush (Floral Majority) - bought on whim while waiting for my prescription at Walgreens .  It’s a little sheer, but makes a really nice base for applying a powdered blush on top and helping it last longer.

Tan Luxe Drops TS (light/medium) - I still have some left from the bottle I bought last year, but this TS price was better, so I made the switch.

Tan Luxe Butter Supersize - to use in conjunction with the tanning drops.  Currently have an opened bottle of a similar type product by Bondi Sands.  I’ll finish that and move to this one.

Skinn Supersize DWP Creme Reverse Intensive arrived.  I’m so glad I was able to resume my old A/S plan.  This is a really nice moisturizer.  You only need a little bit so the 3.4 oz. jar will last a good long while. They’re a little spatula inside to scoop it out so one isn’t tempted to dig in with their fingers and take too much.

For all our beautiful moms...

Happy Mother's Day! 🌷

I purchased Aveda's Shampure shampoo and conditioner. I checked with the sales person and read the labels...no sulfates, silicones or other ingredients I avoid.

I've used JVN for almost a year and will continue with all their products, but OH... that Shampure fragrance drew me in.

About 12 weeks ago I bought this hair-growth tonic and I have been using it ever since/everyday. I posted about this purchase weeks ago. Articles have been written, including NIH pubs, about ginseng and hair loss so I gave this one a try. But after 12 weeks of continuous daily applications, I can't say that it has boosted any hair growth. I won't be repurchasing it.  So disappointing. Had high hopes about the ginseng.

Had some congested pores around my nose area. They looked like they could have been the start of some very tiny blackheads (?). So I bought this 2% BHA toner and used a q-tip to get around my nose, left it on for a few minutes and then wiped it away. Congested pores no more! Stuff works great. Cheap, too. Big bottle for about $15 on Amazon.

THAYERS Witch Hazel Blemish Toner, 12 OZ

@SilleeMee

Thanks for following up on this product...I have been hoping you would see good results. Drat. Been using my Capillus cap for about 6 weeks now. Way too early to see results.

@Shanus Shampure shampoo contains Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate.
