Re: Beauty Purchases; 4/13/23

I bought the jumbo size Dr Denese Hydro Shield Serum when it was on sale for 139.00 with free shipping, and AD. In a year i will get a second one. I am sure that I have been using this for nearly 20 years and often get complimented on my 64 year old skin!

@lilmopeep

I hadn't heard of this product so I looked it up.  I use 2 different "milky" hydrating essences 2x a day.  Hydration is my #1 goal.  My complexion is soooo dry.

@JudyL   I've almost found dupes for all my Bobbi Brown. Anyone who uses it, have you noticed prices have gone up to equal prestige cosmetics?...definitely no comparison.

@JudyL   Loving MAC Syrup. It's a creamy formula and a  medium brighter pink shade for summer.

Good morning

Carmex. I buy everything else for chapped lips but this is really my favorite.

Naturium Vitamin C Complex Face Serum - repeat purchase as I am about out of product. Lasts me about 4+ months.

L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Permanent Hair Color, 9N Light Natural Blonde - this is a new item for me to try. I have been using Clariol coloring and just wanted to try something new. (I have not used yet).

L'Oréal Paris True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum Foundation with 1% Hyaluronic acid, Rosy Light 1-2.5 - repeat purchase, but a new color. I don't really think of myself as having rosy skin tone, but the lighter color is too light and the 2-3 is a bit too dark for me. Tried it yesterday and seems like a good match. Didn't really look too pink on me...thank goodness.

Just wanted to follow up on the Loreal Tinted Serum in Rosy Light 1-2.5 w/ results. I have applied it three times now and first off, the color is perfect for me and I'm really quite pleased w/ the color match. Secondly, it seems to have great staying power for the approx 8 hours I had it on.

So now that I've found my "it" foundation ... please goddess of makeup ... don't disco this product. Smiley Happy

@kate2357 - I love that foundation also.  I get the 2-3 Light Medium and its perfect for me.  This foundation is one of my go-tos.  Also have another L'Oreal that I like too.

Re: Beauty Purchases; 4/13/23

Hi @JudyL and the beauty gang!  TGIF!

I bought:

- two cans of Batste dry sampoo (BOGO 50% off at CVS)

- Revlon lip scrub

- Kiss four way nail file

- Dior Lip Glow in Pink (this is sold out all the time everywhere! I just keep checking back at my make up counters and Sephora.  Whatever one they have, I buy)  The Pink is very VERY light-- like almost nothing.  It's next to nothing. LOL.  But I love the product and will wear it.
