Good morning!  Hope everyone is doing well.  What did you buy this week?  How do you like it?  Did you try something new or is it a replacement?

Here's my list:

ELF - Bite size face duos in Watermelon, Pomegranite, and Spiced Apple.  These are small palettes of blush and highlighter.  I've tried the Watermelon and Pomegranite and like them a lot.  They go on nicely, good color, and last all day.  The price is great too - $3.00!  Would also be great for travel or easy to take in makeup bag in your purse.

Milani - Supercharged Dewy primer base.  Haven't tried it yet.

Dr Dennis Gross eye serum.  This is new for me.  Been using it morning and evening for the last few days and so far so good.  It absorbs quickly and you need so little   Once it absorbs, I put my eye cream over it.  Its pricey but wanted to try it and with as little as I use, it should last a while.

MAC blush in "Breath of Plum" and lip pencil in "Cork."  Haven't tried the blush yet but did the lip pencil.  Its very brown but will be able to use it with a couple of lipsticks but already know it wouldn't be a repurchase for me.

I have other things ordered but they haven't arrived yet.  Will save them for next week.

Please be safe, be well and be kind to yourself and others.

ELF's bite size eyeshadow palettes are really nice. They're great for travel, the colors match what is shown online and they last all day. I use eye primer, which blends well. Price is right; can't ask for anything better than that.

@teganslaw

I agree I have the ELF Rosewater and Truffle bite size eyeshadows and they preform better than my high end shadows . No fallout  and wear beautifully . I do use an eyeshadow primer too.

Oldies but goodies: Devita THD vitamin C serum; also Dr. Brenner L-ascorbic acid serum.

Newbie: Clairol Root Touch Up in shade 6 (light brown).

Lately my regular shade of 5A (medium ash brown) was looking way too dark. This is so much nicer.

All the blushes sound nice! I revived my Ambient palette from Hourglass, and have been using those.

Re: Beauty Purchases; 12/16

[ Edited ]

Prices were so good that I decided to revisit mineral makeup this week.  I ordered:

Bare Minerals Foundation & Bisque Kit (QVC)

Bare Minerals Holiday Mineral Veil Duo - tinted and original (QVC)

Pur Pressed Mineral Makeup (HSN)

Also, my Bare Minerals Lipstick Trio, that I ordered from the website, arrived.  I can't recall who recommended it, but thanks to whom ever it was.  I love it!

Lastly, from Amazon:

Baby washcloths.  I came to the conclusion that using the puppy fur microfiber cloths AM and PM every day were becoming too harsh on my face.

@JeanLouiseFinch - I've been wondering same thing about the microfiber cloths that I have.  Didn't even think about baby washcloths. Thats a good idea.

Hi Fellow Beauty Junkies....

I think I mentioned my Kiehl's skincare here already.

I also purchased a MAC lipstick in Beam There Done That...a pretty mid-tone true pink.

Package came from Sephora yesterday w/ Nars Creamy Concealer and ABH Brow Wiz Pencil in medium brown.

That's it... purchased from 2 Tartlette palettes last week.

A couple orders came today!  YEA!  So to add to my list above:

Laura Geller - Double Take Baked Versatile Powder Foundation in Light.  I had it in Medium and just wasn't real happy with it but used it.  Tried the Light and oh so much better.  Weird becase in her Balance and Brighten I am a medium.

Sephora - Bobbi Brown corrector in light bisque.  Haven't officially tried it yet, just put a little under the eye to see what the color looked like and it seems good.  Also received Kosas concealer in Light neutral with peach undertones - Says 01N on the bottom of the concealer.  I think its too light but will see when I try it on properly.

Even my kitty got his delivery from Chewy!  Everyone is happy today in our little household.  HAHAHA

@JudyL

Please let us know if you try the Kosas concealer and wear it for a day.  I've had my finger on the buy now button so many times with this concealer and I don't know what's keeping me from trying it Smiley Sad
