Beauty Boxes subscriptions?

Monthly boxes have been all the rage.

I still think they are monumental waste of money for samples from brands I would never be interested in exploring anyway.

My sensitive skin wouldn't enjoy being a guinea pig for sure.

Why are they so popular?

What am I missing?
