Doglover, not positive but I think pressed powders with lauroyl lysine tend to run very light. I bought Everydayminerals when they first came out with pressed - since discontinued. I ordered the same shade that was perfect in the loose. I looked like a ghost, and also discovered that ingredient wrecked my skin. The Laura went and added it, and it's in some IT and BE products too. I have to be careful.
At least you tried and know the kit didn't work. Glad Ulta gave you great advice. Ours is useless for giving opinions on products and colors. I don't think any of them get the training for it.
