Beauty Blender--Is It Worth It?

I'm still trying to decide how to use my $20 off at Sephora. I've thought about trying the Beauty Blender sponge for a while now. I'm using Laura Mercier's sponge right now with her foundation and do like it. How long does the BB last? Is it really that much longer than LM's or other sponges? Do you all like it? I haven't seen it discussed in quite a while.
