Beauty Bio R45 (3 phase retinol)

Anyone using this product?  If so, what do you think of it?  Reviews on QVC not too good; better ones on HSN for the same product.  HSN gives a longer return time.  QVC it's 30 days, but the product is a 45-day regimen.  Will have to see if there are any good results by the 30 days, I guess.

Re: Beauty Bio R45 (3 phase retinol)

I used this originally purchased from HSN. I liked it so much I bought another set recently on the Q.  I used the first set after finishing b-feeding my daughter as pregnancy wreaked havoc on my skin.  I loved the results.  It is pricey so when it came back as a deal I purchased again. I was 40 the first time and 43 now. I have skin that is now not only affected by sun damage, but general aging.  Lack of sleep, poor eating habits those first years with an infant really impacted my skin. I figure it cannot hurt to use this twice a year as a booster as described to keep the wrinkles at bay, and in general my skin looked brighter.  I do use Prai 24k retinol most evenings (very yellow product so hopefully that is good)!

I decided to return my order of this.  I just couldn't decide if it was doing anything.  I would have kept it if we had a longer period in which to try it.  It's a 45-day regimen, but QVC has it still with the 30-day return policy.  HSN has the same item (priced higher), but they give a 60 day return policy.   I would have liked to try it longer, but for over $100., felt I didn't want to risk it so did the return.

I had never heard that about retinol having to be yellow to be effective. @ajsidney12  said Prai was.  What about PTR or Paula's Choice or others?

I really don’t buy the “yellow” claim. I use prescription retin a cream (.05%) and it’s white. Retin a micro is yellow ish. In my youth I used .1% retin a gel (strongest % available) and it was clear. I think the color depends on the base used in the formulation.

I bought into this....used all 4 phases and did nothing notieceable for me. I also don't buy into the "yellow" retinol claims. I am more coisistent with my prescription strength retinol and MOdere products. My retinol is WHITE!  Hmmm....
