Hi!!  I bought the Glo Facial when it was the TS on HSN.  I have used it 4 times.  Here are my thoughts so far:

First use:

- learning curve for sure.  I could not figure out how to keep the thing going, as I could not keep contact with my skin

- I didn't see anything other than cloudy water in the chamber.  I was kind of disappointed

- I ran out of time before I used all the solution, which felt like a waste.  (it states do not go over the same area more than once and do not hover over any one area)

Second use:

- Kind of the same as the first.  thinking this is going back

Third use:

- switched to the small head attachment

- only used water

- small attachment was easier to keep in contact with skin.  YAY!

- used water chamber was as clear as the clean water.  LOL

- skin did seem softer though.

Fourth use:

- still using just water and small attachment

- best attempt yet

- chamber had cloudy water (but I only used water)

- skin is soft and maybe it is a little glowy

I am going to keep using it.  Jury is still out and I have until January to return, so I might as well.  If I have any big break throughs, I'll keep you posted.

Did anyone else buy?  What are your thoughts?

Thanks!!

Re: Beauty Bio Glofacial Review

@justashopper I've been thinking about it/wondering about it.  Keep posting updates!  Hope other people will post their thoughts on it too.

Why have you switched to using only water vs. the solution?  The solution that came with the one you purchased was the collagen?

I've had professional facials that used the same concept and I loved those so that keeps me interested in this.

How do you make sure this stays clean/sterilized?

Hi @moonandthestars

Two solutions came with it the original and the collagen.

I switched to water for the time being.  I felt like I was wasting the solution because I haven't been able to use the whole dose.  Now that I am getting better with it, I wll try the solution again.

You ask a good question about sterlizing.  I am not sure that won't become a problem.  I wash out both chambers and use the little cleaner brush (it came with a brush that is kind of like a mini baby bottle brush).  I also rinse the attachment and the tip.  Will it get gunky on the inside? IDK.

The other thing I am keeping an eye out for is broken capalllaries.  Someone here mentioned that and I think it's a good point.  I could see how if you are prone to those or you do this a little bit too much, it could happen.

Although during the presentations, the ladies said they were doing it all day, multiple times.  I can feel the suction, but it's not that strong.  Again, I don't know.  We do know not to tug the skin.  So maybe I am causing more harm than good.

@justashopper @moonandthestars  I bought it also, and I think I am going to keep it. I have used it three times. The first time I had to fill the clean water side twice, but subsequent times it only took once to do my whole face.

I have only used the small tip, and use the brush to clean it after use.

I still have a learning curve in keeping it in contact with my skin. My used liquid container was also cloudy each time, and the collagen solution was distributed over my face. It is too heavy to leave on during the day for me.

I like the way my skin looks after this the next day. It looks slightly pink and irritated right after.

I bought it too and it's in the charger at this point.  Going to try it out in the next few days and I'll review.  Thanks for starting this thread @justashopper .

Re: Beauty Bio Glofacial Review

After thinking about the comments about cleaning the device, if I felt it needed it bc it had gotten gunky, I would run a solution of Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide diluted in water through the left chamber. I keep this stuff on hand and have found countless uses for it.

Hi @KLm @Jk9 @Desertdi @moonandthestars

I am updating my review and experience with this.

I have used it maybe 5-6 times now and I am getting the hang of it!!

-I still don't use the whole application before I finish my face and neck.  I guess I need to go slower

-Keeping contact with the skin seems to work better when I use a spray bottle to keep my face damp

-I think I am pretty close to make up optional skin!  I am not sure if it's because of this machine or because of my Elemis routine.

I recently added the Elemis Night Cream to my routine.  I never really used a specific night cream.  I'd use whatever my day moisturizer was.... Whoa.  I didn't know what I was missing.  LOL

Anyone else have an experience to share??? Thanks!

Re: Beauty Bio Glofacial Review

@justashopper   Thanks so much for that update!  I think I'll probably buy it for myself soon .. hoping for a coupon!  Are you using the collagen serum with it?

I saw briefly on shophq that they were offering a different company's version of this for about $39.95 on special.  Includes some (infusing) serum.  When I google for reviews they aren't sellar tho.  Vanity Planet Vina Hydrating and Infusing Facial Device, in case anyone is interested

Hi @moonandthestars

I am using the collagen serum and the other one that came with it.

I think if you are going to buy it, do it now.  That way you have the holiday return policy-- until 1/31 to decide!

Don't go for the cheap knock off.  Maybe it's me, but any time I bought something cheaper than what I actually wanted, it was a waste of money.  I always end up bying what I really want in the end.  LOL!
