Beauty Awards - No rms Beauty?

I was surprised. rms Beauty and Rose-Marie seem to be popular here. I'm sure people voted for them. Smiley Frustrated

@beach-mom

I didn't watch the entire show, but you're right!  I voted for RMS beauty in a couple categories.  I like Rose Marie's products.

There are likely 45,000-50,000 votes recorded for the Beauty Awards.

Posters here are but a teeny, tiny fraction of that number.

As noted on another thread, who is to truly say the "votes" count? Q does not post any formal results and it is usually the same companies year after year who win. One could speculate Q determines who wins, like reality shows where viewers can vote, who always post a disclaimer that producers reserve the right to essentially manipulate a show to make sure the correct person wins.

PS Love RMS and those eyelights, radiance SPF serums and her brow products!

Who votes?? I'm a good ( frequent) beauty customer for over 25 yrs, and I have never seen where you vote, nor been asked to vote- I wouldn't know how or where to vote!

Who here has voted?
I think these awards are pure malarkey... The winner is  what they want to sell, that what wins! JMHO.

Another vote for her brow products!  I have tried various brow products from different vendors but always go back to using RMS.  Love her brow powder!

the fact that Philosophy won vs. Givenchy for fragrance must mean the winners sell the most not for the fragrance

I've voted for many years (listed on the home page for about a month),
but I don't think our votes really matter.

I rarely watch QVC and no longer watch the Beauty Awards.   Not a fan of one of the hosts and the show is boring since it's the same people and products year after year.  I'm guessing, for the most part,   that has not changed.

Re: Beauty Awards - No rms Beauty?

For it to be an honest election people who vote would have to try  every item in a category and vote for the best. I doubt this happens. If anything those that vote just vote for a product they use. If they count the votes at all. I think it is just another selling ploy.
