Oh for crying out loud. We saw it, it's over and done. Must we go on about "the goodbye", really ?

You people just won't let go. Please, move on, it's already history. Your opinions don't really matter now and I'm sure we will all be hearing from or about Lisa very shortly.

Two months of this has been enough, and overdone. She didn't die you know. She is just changing jobs. People, get a grip, this is ridiculous !

Amen!! Its honestly ridiculous the way everyone goes on and on like she is a faithful family friend they will never see again. LOL

Re: Beautiful goodbye to Lisa...

I have to say she is a true professional....she was able to sell product...talk to the vendors...and not be distracted by all the chatter in the background...which I found somewhat annoying....

I hope she gives herself a lot of time off to relax and not have to ""punch a clock""....I remember my last day of work ...when I was retiring....it was great...but the best thing was the next morning....when I could sleep as long as I chose....and could stay in my jammies the entire day.....lol.....

Re: Beautiful goodbye to Lisa...

I enjoyed the last show and didn't mind her friends in the background. What a lovely send off.

As for the few ladies here who are so ""done"" with saying good bye to her why are you still even reading these post? If you've moved on so fast and are tired of the goodbyes to Lisa then move ON to other post!!

Re: Beautiful goodbye to Lisa...

Change is hard especially for those who are accepting the change and not actively involved.... It will be exciting to learn about our beloved Lisa's new endeavors....surely to be no less than amazingly great! QVC seems to be a respectable organization and from a business sense no doubt they realize the loss! Will it be back to business as usual? Yes, but for those of us who are fans partly to our appreciation of Lisa, it will never be the same. Thank you for sharing your sentiments and highlighting the goodness....there is never too much good! Have a beautiful day! And Merry Christmas! LK

Nice they gave her a good send-off. I'm a bit disappointed she's leaving because she was a heck of a lot of fun to watch. I don't watch a lot of the TV portion but her shows were really fashionable and amusing. It was fun while it lasted.

I just read Mary Beth's blog about Lisa and I'm now convinced Lisa left QVC so she could have a life. Mary Beth talks about how Lisa deserves to be able to go out on a date on a Friday night--she does. She has worked nights and weekends for 20 years! I hope she gets on a good sleep schedule now, meets a great guy and finds much happiness. I will miss seeing Lisa on TV, but she is doing the best thing for her life.

I got that sense a few days ago. Lisa mentioned ever so quickly as she was talking about something that she was either in her car, at work, or in NY for meetings. I think she just needed a life. If you work for the Q you don't have much. Their schedules are nuts and the Q seems to never have gotten on top of giving their workers a life outside of work. Jane said the other day she had worked seven days straight then quickly (oh I'm not complaining.) I think something is going on at HQ that some are not comfortable with.

This is a forum. What do you want to talk about? What? I mean really what do you want to talk about? Everybody has an interest in something. What's overdone is the whining about what people enjoy discussing.....for crying out loud.

Yea, it seems as if she totally dedicated her entire life to her job and it clearly showed in every aspect. I think she said recently either on air or online, in jest, that after she is done with qvc she will sleep for an entire week, or something to that affect. I think she just needs her life back, meaning get back to having more time to do what makes her happy. Most likely a huge weight has been lifted off her shoulders. Being on air for 20 years could be very tiring especially if you are one of the main faces of qvc. I did not think I would miss her as I don't like to be a fan of anyone famous(in a sense she is, don't get technical lol) but I think I will especialy the g.i.l.i. Line since it is one of the more updated and fresh lines qvc has. I wish her the best in all her future endeavors and hope she can find true inner peace and happiness. May God Bless her everyday.

What you both said makes loads of sense. I believe she announced her departure shortly after Joan Rivers' passing. They were friends and spent time together as we've come to learn from things Lisa talked about. After something like that happens to someone close, there is usually a period of evaluation of one's own life. With her work schedule at the Q and not much personal time, that might have been the impetus for her to move forward to her next chapter. I still bet she already has something lined up, which would, of course, contradict my thoughts lol. We'll find out soon I'm sure and whatever it is, she will do it in her own way and with a great sense of style!

My brother quit his very stressful job of 22 years after my dad died. He recouped and now he has a much better job and less stressful. Of course he could quit because he has a lot of money and no family to take care of.
