A lot of the Evine CS reps work from home. I heard a kid screaming in the background once and asked. I've also seen employment ads for Evine CS on various job web sites. So while they may have a call center, many aren't there.

I think that may be the new business model.  Recently, their was a news story about a local Verizon call center that was closing down, but they weren't firing any employees.  They were just going to work from home.  I guess that's better than talking to somebody sitting on the other side of the world where English is not their first language.  And, I suppose that just because someone is sitting in a call center doesn't mean they actually have any more access to management than someone sitting at home.

I also remember working with a DirecTV rep troubleshooting an issue for me and he was working at home.
