I find that very difficullt to believe. I worked there for years and that was never a thing.  We would get fantastic discounts on certain scents every month, but never, ever were forced to buy anything.  How could any of the assiciates afford to do that on a retail salary.

100% .  I was a DM for them and that was never a policy there.  There were sales goals just like other retailers, but no commission and absolutely no obligation to buy anything that didn't sell.

They were also part of L Brands which included The Limited, Express, Victoria's Secret, etc.   I can't even imagine any large corporation having a policy like that.

I use their wallflowers all the time and love them. I only order online although we have a store within an hour's drive from me. All the fragrances in their stores put my smell sense in a tailspin and I get overwhelmed. I've found that when I order the "new" refills, they're a bit more strong. I've just recently started using their liquid hand soaps and like them, too.

As for customer service, I received an order once in which one bottle had come open and leaked. I called CS just to let them know and had to have a discussion with them that I only wanted them to know of the issue; they wanted me to keep the entire order (I usually order 10-12 at a time) and they wanted to replace the order. That impressed me, although I didn't take them up on their offer. Replacing an entire $40+ order for one $4 item seemed like I was ripping them off.

I have noticed an issue with some of their wallflower plugs that leak with age. I'm not a fan of the highly decorated ones and don't care for the night light option, so the ones i get are inexpensive; that may be the problem.

Maybe the sales associates are responsible for a section of the store. That’s one way to measure sales.

No, they're not.  The poster who keeps saying that about employees has this confused with another store.  Many of us have told her that, but she insists.  Not that important in the overall scheme of things.

That poster is very stubborn and won't admit any faults.

@CoffeeNut      She must have a problem with B&BW for her to keep insisting on this. The sales associates do not "sell " the products. They offer to help customers and show where them where the various  products are in the store. The customers take the products up to the cashiers and purchase them. There is no way that any one sales associates would be singled out for selling or not selling products. That is not how this business operates at least not in any store that I have ever been in.
