BareMinerals foundation - am I using too much?

Hi all!

I just started using the BareMinerals matte foundation, and I love it. I used to like the original, but it gave me the itchies, badly. This one doesn't.

My question - I have to use a lot more of it than she would show in all the demos. That amount *might* take care of one cheek. lol Of course it could be the brush I'm using - Bobbi Brown's bronzer brush, which I like ok, but it was never the same after I washed it. Smiley Sad So maybe I'm just using the wrong brush?

My skin definitely doesn't look cakey, and nothing is settling into pores or fine lines - it makes my skin look great. I just end up using much more than she would use in the demos. Has anyone else had this issue?
