BareMinerals eyeshadow

Today I went to my local BareEscentuals Boutique and tried on the Afterparty palette. The salesgirl and my sis both told me this looked really nice on me. However, I'm not sure about eyeshadow with a sheen (not glitter) on my mature eyes. Any thoughts? Thanks!
