Wanted to let you all know there is a 1 hour show tonight on the Q of BareMinerals.  I'm sure they will be showing the new powder foundation if anyone wants to see a presentation.  It'll be on at 6:00pm,PDT/9:00pm,EDT

I think I have seen the presentation of the new foundation at least 5 times in the last week or so, it seems to sneak into a ton of the different shows, they are really pushing it. I know they keep touting it only has 11 ingredients but the one they should have omitted they didnt, Bismuth Oxychloride, many find it very irritating

Bismuth crystals are pointy, sharp and they poke the skin and cause irritation. Some of the crystals can go inside pores and get stuck in them and b/c of their pointy, sharp shape, that makes it difficult to remove from the pores. Not everyone will have problems with it but those that do, really do.

Can't believe BM chose not omitting Bismuth especially when they know the irritation ingredient causes. Thanks for your insightful explanation.

@JudyL  Thank you for telling us about the upcoming Bare Minerals presentation! I lvoe watching them and I use the Bare Minerals lipsticks, lip stains, blushes and highlighters.  I'll be sure to watch at 6pm tonight 🤗📺💯

Bismuth Oxychloride......I thought they call themselves clean beauty...pioneers no less.

@bellaartiste - any company can call themselves a clean brand because there is no industry standard or definition for the term.

I get that. The companies that call themselves "clean beauty" who get called out because they aren't.....lose buyers...like me. People are much more discerning these days to the harmful effects of cosmetics etc. Personally I want to know.

Maybe they will eventually make this in a version without the bismuth oxychloride.  It would be a smart thing to do.

The last BM show I watched was presented by Leslie Blodgett and Lisa Robertson.
