Bare Minerals solid compacts

Has anyone else had a problem with the Bare Minerals solid compacts breaking up on them? I was excited to get the foundation and the mineral veil in the solid compact form since the original is so messy, but I have dropped both of them and the makeup inside broke into a million pieces. Back to the mess.

Am I just clumsy and prone to dropping things, or does this makeup break up easily?
