I received an email from Bare Minerals. Their newest product Is Complexcion Rescue All Over Illuminizer spf 20.  It comes in 5  shades.  I won't be getting it anytime soon, but will be interested in the reviews.

I'm a Complexion Resue user and have been since it was first shown on QVC. Love it.

My 2cents on this "so called new product": I don't believe it's anything special. SPF 20, the original CR is 30%.  It has illumination which is why I love it.

bareMinerals has gone downhill since Leslie Blodgett sold the company. Their customer service when you call with ?s is HORRIBLE. They don't even  know the products.

Example: summer bisque concealer. The person didn't know what I was talking about. Love bareMinerals but, not so much anymore.

Re: Bare Minerals New Product

I got the email too. I also use Complexion Rescue when I want a light foundation. I was intrigued by this and thought I might try it.

I came to bareMinerals when Jessica represented it. I didn't "know " Leslie, but of course I've heard her name.

I think Jessica is great, and I've learned a lot from her. I've watched her demonstrate products and I like that she answers questions.

But I did call the company once to ask about a product I had that was reformulated. The CS rep I talked to had no idea what I was talking about. And it seemed like I knew more about the products than she did.

That's the third time I've called a beauty CS rep (in three different companies) that she hasn't known anything about the product I'm asking about! Where do they get these "experts"??

Two words for EXCELLENT customer service: rms beauty!  Smiley Happy

Jessica is great. I'm surprised she has stayed. Nothing about her but as I mentioned in previous post, bareMinerals has really declined, lost it's luster.

I use the original bare minerals when I want to wear foundation. It evens my complexion and looks very natural on me. At least I think so. I also use their loose mineral blush in Golden Gate, and loose minerals e/s in vanilla sugar-this has been a staple in my makeup case for years. Really like their products. Trivia question: does anyone remember the name of the the perfume that Leslie used to sell? It had a super sweet fruity, tropical scent.

Is it Escentuals?  It had floral, tonka bean and some vanilla.  Itwas my favorite scent ever

@TerryNJ   I used the powder foundation when I first saw it advertised...so long ago I can't remember which decade. I do still have and keep around that powder because it's perfect to cover veins on my ankles, bruises and any blemishes on. my body since it doesn't transfer. I went a shade darker than I used on my face.

@smoochy   Oh I do remember that scent , it smelled fantastic !!   I can still smell it if I think about it !  It had a fruity , tropical,  cocoa scent .  That hint of cocoa made it perfect !  I've never smelled any other perfume like it since .  I don't remember the name , but I truly wish they would bring it back !!
