Re: Balance N'Brighten on Mature Skin???

[ Edited ]

I love Laura, but my skin is sun damaged, crepey, and powders ( even if supposedly "creamy")  are not my friend... I have tried Her B n B and it never looked good on me... It's a great kit if it works for your skin though!

I'd love to try this kit.  I like all the products and colors.

But the talc is a no-go for me too.  It makes my face itch terribly.

@LillyandHobo I think they start with women who have very fine pores and very few fine wrinkles or other defects.  No matter what kind of foundation anyone has ever tried to put on my face (creams, lotions, any powder including LG's Baked), the foundations all magnified my pores.

@millieshops So what kind do you use; or can you get away without any foundation? Heart

@World Traveler I "get away" with no foundation on the theory that it's best not to call attention to defects that are not going away any time soon.

I used to buy an Olay tinted mosturizer that was better for me than anything called a foundation, but that product disappeared long ago.

@Katcat1 I'm in my mid-60's and ordered the TSV in light.  I have worn the medium in the past and found some in my makeup stash and put it on again to see how it looked.  I think it looks fine.  I didn't put a lot on tho so I wouldn't say its full coverage but I think I look more finished than without it.

Re: Balance N'Brighten on Mature Skin???

I use IT products (CC  foundation and theor regular foundation) and have been very happy with them. In fact they work so well that my DIL asked why my skin looked so flawless and she bought a ton of IT and loves it. Their blush goes on smooth and looks real without looking too bright.

@millieshops You mentioning tinted moisturizer reminded me that I used to use Perricone's tinted moisturizer. Wonder why I stopped? Seems a tinted moisturizer takes care of two things at once! I want to go back and look at it again. Thanks for mentioning that. Heart

@World Traveler   Of all the Perricone I've used  - and I still use his serums -  I never tried the tinted oiaturizer.. If you try it again, please report back.  Thanks  Millie

I like PUR Cosmetics 4-in-1 pressed mineral foundation. It's got a little bit of shea in it so it feels moisturizing. You can find it at PURCosmetics dot com, Ulta and other places...pretty easy to find. I've been using that for almost twenty years. The coverage is outstanding. Top rated!
