Re: Balance N'Brighten on Mature Skin???

[ Edited ]

I thought Laura said last night she took all the bad stuff out.

I've worn bnb ever since it came out. It covers really well.

I get compliments on my skin like your makeup looks good, you have a healthy glow or you just look good and believe me I have lots of wrinkles and I'm a senior.

I wear the fair even though I tan very well. I tried the medium once and it was too dark.

I moisturize before I put the bnb on. I just ordered some of her spackle off of eBay since it is a lot cheaper than here.

Once in awhile I will put on liquid foundation but then I always buff the bnb on afterwards. I feel like it looks creamy on. I would get this but I wouldn't use the other items in the kit. I order from her website when she has a sale and get free shipping.

I like it a lot.

I don't use her other products like the highlighter, blush or eyeshadow, I use bare minerals for that.

I will always have wrinkles but I love the coverage.

Re: Balance N'Brighten on Mature Skin???

i have been using B & B for several years now.  i have very dry skin, i have visible pores, and i have wrinkles too.  i will always use a moisturizer first, then dab a tiny bit of liquid foundation on my rosacea/age spots and then i buff my B & B on over my whole face.   i am pretty picky about how my makeup looks, and i have been completely happy with the B & B !!

from reading through the posts, i am thinking it behaves differently on different people.

I'm a mature woman and I've been using the B&B ever since it came out on QVC.  It works great and I don't see it settling in fine lines.

Re: Balance N'Brighten on Mature Skin???

I ordered the fair today, although I've never been very successful with powders. I decided to take a chance because I have found an inexpensive teenage moisturizer that kind of "seals" my skin. Sadly it only lasts about 2 hours.

Clean & Clear Watermelon Gel Moisturizer   $6.50

I think the ingredient that accomplishes this is vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer. Sounds horrible. I've never seen this anywhere else. I wonder if this helps to hold back the oil in a teen's skin.

Let's remember that the Kia Soul was designed for young drivers, but  seniors made it successful.

Someone mentioned Fenty (Rihanna's makeup) and I am now on a waitiing list for her new tint which is light to medium coverage.  She also has a powder foundation if anyone is interested.  I give Rihanna a lot of credit for having 50 shades for all her foundations.  All different undertones.
