Ordinarily I'm content with a BB/CC cream for every day; usually SKINN or Physicians Formula these days.  I recently decided that I'd like more of a legit foundation when going out, in order to get just a little more even coverage.  I've revisited a brand that I used many years ago and now I'm wondering why I ever stopped?!?!  I first found Southern Magnolia Minerals on eBay when looking for a Bare Minerals dupe, when they were both just in powdered form.  Then SMM's business grew, she left eBay and developed more products.  I continued to order from her and then sort of left to try other brands. I'm loving my new (again) liquid foundation.  The coverage is enough to give an even look to my complexion, but it's buildable for the person who wants a little more.  It's not greasy at all and my skin feels like velvet.  I'm really happy that it has antioxidants that are good for the skin and both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in it so I don't have to apply a separate sunscreen.  It's listed as 89% organic, made in the USA, and cruelty free.  The bottle is .67 oz. for $17.99 and she always ships for free and includes a little sample of mineral eyeshadow.

Re: Back to My Old Foundation

I'm new to that brand and I just checked out the website. Their prices are very reasonable and the selection is great. I like that samples are for sale and refill bags instead of a whole new container can be chosen. Thanks for mentioning this brand @JeanLouiseFinch

@SilleeMeeBarb really has a lot to offer.  When I was using the powdered mineral foundation, it was much more economical to order the refill bag and just fill my sifter jar as needed. It seemed to last forever.

I'm going to order some powder samples. I like powders more than liquids. Do the powders give you a glowy finish? @JeanLouiseFinch

ETA - I see there are matte and satin choices. Oh that's wonderful

You beat me to it, @SilleeMee.  There's also a soft focus version that's kind of in between the two.  In case you didn't notice, on the mineral/powdered foundation section, there are two pages of product listings.

Re: Back to My Old Foundation

You are lucky if you can wear mineral makeup; however, I am one lady that cannot wear it.  I tried BM several years ago and the girl at ULTA told me before I put it on that it will age me.  She was right.  The one foundation I am interested in is Candleglow by Laura Mercier.  It's one of those new foundations that is extremely lightweight but long wearing.  Cat Wink
