Well at least my hair is, I just returned from the salon, and I feel like a new woman !  I wore my mask, in fact I told my stylist I'd of worn a hazmat suit if it meant I could get my cut and color. 🤣 I look so much better that I haven't stopped smiling ! 🄰

@QVCkitty1 Did they use the hair dryer on you?

The salon I'm changing from, asks you to come in with clean hair and they would NOT be using hair dryers.

I was also able to get my hair cut and colored two weeks ago and yes wore a mask. My stylist is not doing any drying either.

@QVCkitty1 YES!   I'm joining you tomorrow and I'm just so eager.

I'm not about to do much of anything else "normal" for a long time yet, but these weeks have given me a new appreciation of my father-   and he's been gone nearly 60 years now.  I still remember the days he came home for lunch and spent minutes at a little mirror on our enclosed back porch trying to comb what hair he still had over his growing baldness before he went back to work.

Now when I get up in the morning and brush on some Joan Rivers' color or spray on a newer L'Oreal color product, I think of him.  Sometimes I think I'm just vain, but I know that's not how I ever thought of him.   So I'll go tomorrow and revel in the new me for an hour -  and I just know that when I first look at myself Friday morning, I'll be pleased.

I'm happy for you ! If wanting to look your best is vanity, I will cop to being vain. As for me , my complexion looks better with my hair colored, and a good cut can completely change your look. Have fun Friday !

My salon/shop not open or taking appts yet - we don't have the OK yet from our Gov.

My hairdresser has texted me she will only do haircuts - no style or blow dry and no color!

Im devestated that I can't get color with this grow out and now my regular person can't do color - so have to find someone new during this time.....

@Fifi1 : Would  your stylist mix up your solution and give you some tips on applying it?  Would be more income for your stylist and would solve your problem.
