While the artwork is creative, I'm not sure why anyone would think short, round nails would flatter anyone's hands.

I do not like the nails in those pictures.  I prefer a simple classic color and short to medium length nails.  I know - boring - but hey, that is what I like.

This afternoon I saw someone with a bubble pedi and thought of this thread.   Her base was a cherry red with metallic designs.  The big toes looked exaggerated, but the others almost looked almost like a regular pedi.

Those nails make the models' hands look deformed.  The artwork is pretty, but the shape is awful.

I think it comes down to the basics, again, of the need to come up with something new to catch 'attention'.  Constantly seeking attention will always cause people to consistently 'reinvent' new ways to catch someone's eye.  It certainly caught mine!

The look like little colored beetle bugs....  not a fan of the shape at all....
