BM new compact foundation - thumbs up!

I received my order today for the new Bare Minerals compact foundation. It is a winner! I love it....even better than the original loose minerals version. It nicely blurred away my wrinkles (as much as a foundation can, that is). It is neat and easy to apply. I'd love to hear others' thoughts about it if you've received your order, too. I may even order a backup.

@Goldengate8361  - This is great to hear.  I'm still waiting on mine.  Supposed to be here on Monday.

It appears to have Bismuth Oxychloride in it like the original which causes a lot of itching for many of us, if you notice the itching please let us know.

Doll 10 concealer foundation with the brush doesn't cover nothing.   How they cover the examples they show on TV with the birth marks, age spots, etc. is

beyond me.  I'm not wasting any more money on their stuff.

@Goldengate8361

I got mine today too, and I agree with you--I like it better than the original loose minerals.  Definitely easier to apply for me but I have to remember to dab with the sponge rather swipe like a regular compact puff.

It looks to me that they might be going to feature refills in the future judging from the compact design.

The only thing I'm not thrilled about is that the expiration date is 2026.

I'm very sensitive to bismuth so I use the matte which is bismuth free...Leslie said she made the matte option for those that experience redness, itching & breakouts from bismuth. I hope the matte is offered in the compact too, I'd love to try it. Happy to hear you're pleased with yours @Goldengate8361

I wonder how it compares to PurMinerals pressed foundation?

Re: BM new compact foundation - thumbs up!

@SilleeMee @I have not used the pur minerals compact foundation but I know many people love that brand. Many, many years ago, I tried the loose pur minerals but I never found a shade that worked for me as I recall. The BM 10 (just called simple "medium") is a perfect match for my face. It's a cool, light medium...so I was very happy to see that the new BM foundation stayed true to their color schema.
