Salons are still not open here yet either. Our "Safer at Home" order which is I think Stage 1 of reopening expires May 15 so we'll see if salons are able to open then. I certainly hope so, but not for me. I color my own hair and it doesn't matter so much if it grows. She'll just have to cut more whenever I do get in. I just think it's time for businesses to get back open in MY area. We have only had 4 deaths in a 4 county area and maybe a total of about 300 cases in the same area. There are other areas in the state that need to be more cautious, but I see no reason to keep the whole state closed down due to 3 or 4 counties.

@Shanus I was thinking about how rusty I might be applying makeup since it's been so long now. Mainly it would be eyeliner and eyebrows.

@Lipstickdiva No, it's Norman. It is just south of Moore, and they are a world unto themselves down there. It's a University town and not exactly on the same wavelength sometimes. She is in the news a lot, and it I think trying to position and publicize herself to achieve greater glory! Or infamy. However that stuff works out these days!

@Sooner, funny. The woman I know actually lives in Norman. I'll have to look all that up. I've not seen that. I've seen a lot about the woman in Texas who is now in jail because she opened her salon.

I'm in central Florida....the governor states NO SALONS are to be opened as of yet...we are in phase 1. My daughter has her own rental in a salon, they are shut down. I dont know how your salon is opened, legally??

Would you mind telling me the name of salon? I'm just curious.
