Hi Beauties, 

Are you sitting down?  I did not purchase anything this past week.  However, I have good news -- today is my birthday and I am 70!  It's been a long road and I hope to travel many more miles.

My Laura Gellar purchases finally arrived yesterday. This was from the sale that @ECBG posted about back around Thanksgiving. 

Considering how slow they were to arrive I was very pleased that everything was in great condition. (and really the slow shipping didn't matter, as long as it got here by Christmas!). 

Very happy with my purchases AND how much $$ I saved!

I really like Active Argan Plant Stem Cell Elixir, and I wasn't going to hoard, but I got a backup. I am really into antioxidant skin care. I first heard "antioxidant" from Victoria Principal and that was years ago.

Wild Poppy rollerball from Nest. I wanted something light with a hint of rose, and this is very nice. Nest does not use synthetics. You can tell because this lasts all day. I just don't like some of their combinations. I think somebody else needs to step in to formulate, but with the Nest integrity.

(I made it to the big 70 last winter so, gulp!, I'm almost 71) 

I had so many coupons for Bath and Body Works last week -- when I went to the store, I only spent $27, which is about the regular price of their large 3-wick candle.   So, I got that candle, 3 large lotions and shower gels, and 4 travel-sized lotions and spritzers.   I left the store with a spring in my step and 2 heavy sacks.  Felt like I paid for the candle and got everything else free.  Some for myself, some for gifts.

1. I purchased the LORAC Pro 4 palette (cool shades) I recommended yesterday. I couldn't resist since cool shades are difficult to find. 

2. Another face oil...going w/ marula for winter. BTW, love the BB Face Oil, but DH is allergic to patchouli and I love it, but sometimes you just have to give in. 

3. BB site had 25%-30% off last week, so went a little nuts purchasing for myself and pro kit. If you haven't tried it, the Vitamin Enriched Face Base is a wonderful moisturizer/primer for all skin types and was/is temporarily available in supersize...purchased 2. I wear it at night when I don't need SPF. It has a wonderful fragrance (heads up if fragrances bother you).

ENJOY YOUR SPECIAL DAY! I loved turning 70...a milestone, for sure. 

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!  I've been sending "salad emojis" w/ my greetings. It looked like a wreath. Lol. DIL corrected me.

Finally---got my 2 beauty boxes and have to say that it was not worth waiting for--first I get Beautyfix by Dermstore that I usually love for the products are a good size and I use them--this months box was full of tiny sample sizes and a freaking comb, to boot--not a special comb with magical powers to lift and separate my stupid hair--just a rat tail comb---really??!!! and I paid for this month the last week of Nov and just got it a couple days ago------not the usual way this happens--so I decided to cancel this for awhile. The other one is Boxycharm---new to me and the contents were impressive--just one item was $79 alone---think I will give this one a try for a few months.
