BEAUTY PURCHASES week end 5/19/17

Happy Friday, Beauties. Yesterday it was 80 here in Chicago and this morning it's about 40 degrees! Help! lol

I planned on going for a pedicure but that will have to wait. My purchases for the week were:

Perricone No Blush

Interesting product. It has anti-aging properties that I was unaware of but it will only anti-age my cheeks. It does give a very natural look to your skin as it is absorbed and not just laying on the skin.

I have bought WAY TOO MUCH this week.

GARNIER Skinactive BB cream I bought the IT Cosmetics CC Cream and had to return because it made me breakout. The Garnier Skinactive did not break me out, and feels as good as the IT. (Not as much coverage, but I like a lighter coverage for the summer anyways. I am pretty impressed.

Garnier Skinactive Balckhead Eliminating Scrub So far so good.

Shea Moisture Probelm Skin Toner I am looking for a good toner and thought I'll give this a try. So far, I am not impressed. Feels a little too greasy for a toner.

CoverGirl ReadSet Gorgeous Foundation I already own one, but I bought another shade because it was on clearance at Walgreens. This way I can mix the shades for a perfect shade.

CoverGirl Liperfection Gloss Balm It was on clearance. it's good but not spetacular.

@momoftwo2007, Thayer's has a very good toner. It is alcohol free. I use the rose petal one. It is not greasy. It helps with removing any leftover makeup.

I left off a couple of things. I did buy another diffuser from Indigo Wild and Zum's Besty bar soap. Now I have 2 diffusers in different rooms of my apt.

Beauty purchases this week.

Micro-nail tool by Micro-pedi. My fingernails have ridges so I was hoping to smooth them. It's OK. I don't think it smooths ridges but is fine for adding shine to them. I think this gizmo is not being carried in Canada anymore as I bought it on clearance at London Drugs.

Since my skin is drier, my foundation needs fine tuning. While I use CC cream mostly, I want to try so ething else like cushion foundation so I bought L'Oreal Lumi cushion foundation in both N2 Classic Ivory and C3 Creamy Natural. Not much coverage but it looks nice and does not sit in my pores after a while. The color selection in Canada is limited. I also bought the cream to powder finish True Match foundation in N2. This is just OK but highlights crepey skin. Would not repurchase.
