BEAUTY PURCHASES & REVIEWS 11/17/17

Hi Beauties!  I hope you have been busy shopping for yourself and others in the Beauty Dept.

I purchased:

Two regular size philosophy Candy Cane body wash.  I am giving one to my hair stylist for Christmas along with a zum bar soap in a Christmas scent.

Cetaphil Gentle Facial Wash -  I originally bought the regular wash but realized it was for normal to oily skin.  I do not have oily skin.

Conair oval lighted makeup mirror - what a nightmare.  I returned it because I thought I wanted battery operated (big mistake) and had to return the battery operated.  Ordered another mirror and it was so big and returned it.  I ended up with the first one 7x magnification and one side normal but lighted and actually very nice.  Bought at Target online.  Battery operated is not good because you don't the light strength you do with a plug in.

What have you Beauties been up to?  I hope you had a really good week and I wish you a great weekend.  Boy, Thanksgiving is next week which is hard to believe.  Stay Pretty, Beauties!

Re: BEAUTY PURCHASES & REVIEWS 11/17/17

Technically I didn't order anything this week but I did receive a few things that I ordered so hopefully that counts.

Bare Minerals eyeshadow palette called "Bare Metals"

Two Tarte blushes - Exposed and Natural Beauty.

Oh and I did buy a lipstick - Milani in Naturally Pretty

RT Blush brush

For my DD for her stocking, I bought her some masks from Ulta

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I got the Wet n Wild brush set at Walgreens for $15 on sale this week.  You can't beat the price.

I also got the Flower Beauty HydraSilk lip Butter at Walmart.  It is my first Flower Beauty purchase, and I have to say that it feels really moisturizing. I also purchased the Flower Beauty Powder Foundation, but I have not used it yet.

I also purchased the Sam's Club's Nature Well Rich Moisturizing Cream Trio.  There are three 8 oz pack of creams for only $17.  So, it is about $6 for each.  And it is VERY moisturizing. I am really plesantly surprised.

I know these are all drugstore buys for me this week, but honestly, all these products are as good as many of my high end products (and for only a fraction of the price).

Have a great Thanksgiving week, Beauties! And have a great time Black Friday beauty shopping!

Browgal scissors

Sara Happ rose gold lipgloss

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea H20 gel. I alternate it nightly with philosophy ultimate miracle worker night cream. I wish QVC would carry the full size since I had to buy it from Amazon. Free shipping, though.

Ok, I have tried to be good as I am always on the search for a great undereye concealer. The new Revlon Yourh FX fill and blur concealer is OK - I bought fair and light - but it takes a lot to conceal a little and I think a moisturizer is needed beforehand. I've been using it over the IT Cosmetics CC cream which does nothing for the undereye hollows and dark circles. The Revlon concealer is a click pen with a sponge top applicator and what isn't fun is priming the pump to get it to come out. It takes about 80-100 clicks just to get the liquid to come out the first time.

From Sephora: Tarte Aqua Concealer. It’s very creamy and blends wonderfully.  I got medium.  Thank goodness I tried it first!  Light was okay under my eyes, but I really wanted to cover sun spots.  She kept going darker and darker.  Medium is perfect.

From QVC: Tarte blush palette with brush.  Meh. Brush is nice but the blush is so dark.  Pretty case.

From QVC:  Josie Body butter and Balm—OTO.  Vanilla wafer. God awful scent. Lately I can’t do her scents.

From QVC: two sets of the Berkshire sheets. A second set for me and a gift set.  Love these!

Purchased as a stocking stuffer Lancôme Glow Subtil Silky Creme Highlighter in Glowing Lights shade — it’s a cream to powder dry highlighter. Fingertips work best to apply to face where you want a little brightness or glow.
