@Shanus- the reasoning, no....but it's another channel like QPlus which will be hosted by Elise and Alberti ....the hours escape me but if you go to the "program guide" where you select "live" or Q plus, Beauty IQ is there as a section for further info....all carriers will not have the station...posters and the hosts stated there is a place to put in your zip code to see the channels available in your area, But, i have not found that myself....I'm really not interested and the whole concept is puzzling, the choice of hosts a bit odd....I like Alberti but a waste of a good host and Elise is rather new but seems nice and a good host but why not Sandra? Courtney? Tho if I were watching I'd prefer Elise.  I believe you  can view online and direct tv at present...

I can't see my carrier offering a channel devoted to beauty....but, maybe QVC live airtime won't be wasted on all day beauty shows....maybe more time for vacuum cleaners ugh!

Does this mean that QVC live will no longer present beauty items?

This morning at the end of the Susan Graver Show Alberti announced this was his last day on the regular Q channel. He said he starts this Wednesday night on BeautyIQ Channel. I'm a little sad to see him leave regular Q because I enjoyed his jewelry shows as well as other shows he did. Guess BeautyIQ will be live most week nights and rest of the time pre recorded like QVCPlus Channel. He mentioned watching it online on our tablets, etc. I wondered same thing about whether regular Q Channel will be phasing out of Beauty shows.

I am excited for this as I only watch beauty shows so this is perfect for someone like me and to have my favorite host on it-Alberti-makes it even better. It isn't a "waste" of a good host for those of us who love beauty shows! I have no idea who the other host is. Never seen her before.

I don't watch the beauty shows....so another channel would be fine with me if they still didn't give so much time to beauty on the regular QVC channel.............but i think they will still present alot of beauty products/items regularly......they should bring Sandra and Jackie to that channel as they seem to enjoy working the beauty shows more then the other themed shows........think Alberti should stay with the regular QVC channel.........Haven't been impressed w/Elise............I am sure alot of the senior hosts don't want to go to the newer station and have to talk beauty products for hours on end without any diversity in products.....

I doubt the Q will phase out beauty on the main channel. Beaity iQ isn't availabe on most cable systems (or on Dish Network), and it's only live 20 hours a week (8-midnight, Wednesday-Sunday). The Q makes too much money via its beauty product (close to a fifth of its revenue comes from beauty), so phasing it out on the main channel would be a poor financial decision.

I don't know if they'll stop beauty on the Q channel but I LOVE the new Beauty IQ channel. Why? It's MUCH more laid back. You really get to see the personality of the vendor WITHOUT the hard sell that is normal on the Q. The setting is very calming. It reminds me of QVCUK's beauty channel. You learn far more about the product as well.

Love it!!

@BeautyDiva,

Right now, DirecTV, U-Verse, and I believe Roku are showing the station, but you can also watch via QVC.com or the phone/tablet apps, and when the channel is live (Wed-Sun, 8-midnight Eastern), you can watch via the Facebook page and join in on the chat. The chat is very interactive -- Alberti and Elise encourage questions about the products and will answer them during the broadcast.
