BE lip gloss in Beauty Test Tube

Has anyone had a problem with the lip gloss of BE in the last Test Tube? I had one sent to my daughter and she said it smelled and tasted funny ( not that it tingled, she knows some do) and when she put it on it turned orangy on her. Just wondering if she got a bad gloss or an old one.
