BE - Anyone else experience this....

I've been using BE for 5+ years now. I recently purchased a magnifying mirror and was shocked to see how my face actually looked with BE foundation on it. It looks like a powdery film all over my face. Not a very good look. Now I realize that no one is going to get that close to my face with a magnifying glass. But, I couldn't get over how bad it looked. And, I really buff, buff, buff when I put it on and don't overuse the foundation. Anyone else notice this? I'm seriously thinking about changing to another type of foundation.
