BB question

I had to send the lighness kit with the BB reg w/spf back because it was to light. I have read posts saying the spf ones are lighter than the ones wihout spf. so my question is: should I order he regluar w/o spf, or the tan w/o spf? Needless I don't want foundation with spf?
