I thought that Carolyn did a great job. Since she does not wear a lot of makeup she actually is a good representative for Bobbi's makeup because she can show that Bobbi's makeup is easy to use and is natural enough for women who are not makeup guru's like those of us who have been on these boards for years.

I have decided that I am going to get this kit. I am going to use it to make my own travel kit for this summer so I don't have to repack everything. I wear mostly all Bobbi's make up and the quality to me is really superior to most brands at any price range. I wear Bobbi's foundation in warm ivory, but I am going to order the porcelain because the sand is too dark for me. Bobbi said the porcelain has a little yellow in it so I think that will suit me better. Besides you can use the foundation as a concealer if it is too light.

I can't find the photo of the description of the second shipment in september. I saw it yesterday, but now I can't find it.

Oh please post the description of the second shipment if you can find it. I would really like to know, as I signed up for the auto delivery. Thanks so much.

I have several of the products in this kit.

Travel concealer and foundation - give these products a three. There is very little foundation in the set and no one who is not a professional make up artist requires 2 different concealer colors.

Lips - have no lasting power

Blush - intense cheek color which I don't like and I end up putting more foundation over it to tone it down.

Brushes - outstanding.

One is a corrector. I personally don't use a corrector, but many swear by them. I actually did try this corrector during the recent Sephora sale but returned it. I found that it accentuated my under-eye issues. But again, it seems to be popular.

The Corrector is designed to be worn under it's corresponding concealer (or your concealer color from another brand). Without it the tones of the corrector are all peachy and look weird. The product does work when applied properly and can help you look brighter under the eyes.

Yes, right, I know, Trix. But actually, many reviewers on MUA and Sephora do like to use the corrector alone. Perhaps they have one of hers in the bisque tones rather than the peach tones? Who knows? Bisque was the category recommended for me at Sephora.

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

In the past year I have bought and returned at least 3 eyeshadow palettes from BB. I don't know what's going on with her quality, but it just isn't there for me anymore. I found I had to really dig down into the sparkle eyeshadow to get any color payoff. The palettes I have seem to be of better quality. I am still able to put a matte eye shadow on and then a shimmer on top without sparkles getting all over my cheek. I love the old palettes better.

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

I watched the current presentation online. I don't know who the host is.. but I thought they did a really nice job. It was actually tempting if not for QVC's exorbitant additional costs. Plus I don't use the concealer set which actually creases under my eyes. Not many concealers do this. There's a shade between natural and honey that would be my actual color. I do have the mini foundation stick I sometimes use as a spot concealer when I don't want to do a full face of makeup. I don't think I'd like it as a full-on foundation.

I too was afraid of sparkle in shadow for a long time. BB changed all that. IMO, her formulas are very wearable- a sophisticated shimmer vs. UD or many other brands. Now it looks all wrong (especially at night) if I wear only matte shadow. Too flat.. hard to explain, but that little bit of shimmer lights up the eyes and entire face. Bobbie Brown has always been one of my top lines.. though I never got into her foundations and again, didn't like the neutralizer/concealer.

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

I've bought several of her products and am not impressed. For one, I'm pretty sure they're made in china (notice no country of origin posted with ingredients) and they don't have lasting power. I expect them to last until I scrub them off, and they don't. I've found the foundation to be much too yellow for my skin. Eyeshadows were ok, but again, don't stay, even with a primer. The gel eye liner seems to work well for me, but it dries out quickly. I was able to save some of it by dripping a few drops of argon oil into the jar. They're much too expensive, on sale or not.

I would not assume that. Anyone can either call their CS and ask or can check the packaging in person.

While I love BB's eye shadows, I too have received a few palettes that were duds for whatever reason. There's a palette I use almost daily that is super rich in pigment, a combo of matte, shimmer and a metallic.. negligible fall out. Just beautiful. It's a staple for me.

I don't see her products any pricier than other high-end cosmetic lines. In fact, she could charge a lot more for her wonderful illuminating bronzers. This wouldn't be a good value since I'd only be using the gel eyeliner, eye palette, the foundation as a spot concealer and maybe the gloss. I haven't had much luck with her pot rouge. I much prefer her powder blushes. BB's Tawny powder blush has been my HG for years. It's simply not a good deal through QVC anyway. Besides...I need another eye palette like a hole in my head.

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

I had a BB lip gloss in a nude color that I really loved but the lip gloss was so incredibly drying to my lips.

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

I've liked every BB product I've tried and I own a lot. I'm passing on this TSV only because I have almost everything. The eyeshadow is my favorite.
