Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

Did anyone see how many were sold so far today? Has it been a slow day? I ordered and am looking forward to this one and the 2nd shipment. I think it has a great combination of her products even if I don't wear every single eye shadow shade.

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

I've ordered the TSV - I was really on the fence, but I haven't bought any makeup in a while, so I am going to purge some of my old things and start new for spring. I also thought the entire TSV will be great for traveling. Not sure I got the right shade, but hopefully I did.

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

Hi Everyone-Although I really like some BB products, I'm passing on this. I have very similar items already, including a very similar palette from BB from about a year or so ago (could this be an older palette? Anyone know?).

For those that are on the fence, I think that little face compact thing is a great way to try the BB brand. I think I've purchased two of these over the years and used each product til I 'hit pan'. However, be really careful when choosing your shade. I find that the best way to choose a shade is by going to a BB counter. I've chosen wrong in the past and within the BB line there are lots of different shades-which is a GOOD thing-but confusing. My only suggestion. Smiley Happy

BB sure looks nice on the QVC home page. A bit of blush/color is very flattering.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

I needed to chime back in--It really irks me that the Q does not take a note from the other major home shopping station and offer Free Shipping on some of these beauty TSVs and the other products within the line that's being sold. It would really make a difference for me if I needed or wanted something. For instance, Lancome is sold on HSN and whenever they have a TS all of the Lancome products on the site are Free Shipping. This is great when I need a mascara!

Easy pass for me. I'm not a huge fan of BB products and I need more brown/taupe and ivory shadows like I need a hole in my head.

I am buying the TSV. My Dior Quint pallet is 4 years old. I should probably throw it out!

glmama - I thought of going to the store today to check out the shades, but it is terrible weather here; so I will keep my fingers crossed! I bought the beige, but thought I might need natural. Worst case, I will exchange it. BTW do you have a good product for finicky, rosacea skin? In the past few months nothing seems to work for me. Thanks!

Re: BB TSV - Anyone Getting?

I would consider trying this product line but the s&h killed this sale! Laura Mercier has the best ""neutral"" makeup products. I love her concealer. I did take the plunge to try the Trish McEvoy kit from HSN. It had a more compelling offer for me with full size products and a great looking color palette. No s&h has a huge impact on my buying decisions. $7 to ship the BB kit is a deal breaker!!!

I thought that Carolyn did a great job. Since she does not wear a lot of makeup she actually is a good representative for Bobbi's makeup because she can show that Bobbi's makeup is easy to use and is natural enough for women who are not makeup guru's like those of us who have been on these boards for years.

I have decided that I am going to get this kit. I am going to use it to make my own travel kit for this summer so I don't have to repack everything. I wear mostly all Bobbi's make up and the quality to me is really superior to most brands at any price range. I wear Bobbi's foundation in warm ivory, but I am going to order the porcelain because the sand is too dark for me. Bobbi said the porcelain has a little yellow in it so I think that will suit me better. Besides you can use the foundation as a concealer if it is too light.

I can't find the photo of the description of the second shipment in september. I saw it yesterday, but now I can't find it.

Oh please post the description of the second shipment if you can find it. I would really like to know, as I signed up for the auto delivery. Thanks so much.

Second Shipment:

  • Palette with one 0.29-oz eye shadow each in Cream, a creamy beige shade; Pebble Metallic, a pale silver shade; Dove Gray, a light gray shade; Chiffon Sparkle, a pale golden shade; Quarry Shimmer Wash, a shimmering silver gray shade; Smokey, a rich black gray shade
  • 0.15-oz Face Touch-Up Palette in Porcelain, Sand, Beige, Natural, Honey, or Warm Almond
  • 0.24-oz Lip Gloss in Dusty Rose, a mauve rose shade
  • 0.045-oz Long-Wear Eye Pencil in Jet, a blackest black
  • 0.13-oz Pot Rouge in Homecoming Pink, a mid-tone raspberry pink shade

Thank you so much! I am happy to see a gray color theme rather than browns. I sure wish they would display the next shipment during the presentation. That might increase the sales.
