Aveeno calm and restore cleanser

I love the Aveeno calm and restore line of their moisturizer and serum. I think it should be in everyone's bathroom cabinets. I don't use it very often but if I'm too tired for a seventh step skin care regimen I can reach for the Aveeno and know I'm good.  I saw Jessica Braun talk about the oat calm and restore cleanser on a recent video. I thought there might be someone here that could use it. This line is wonderful for all kinds of complexion woes.

I have not tried this yet but have been meaning to!  It looks awesome and hopefully is very gentle --- which is certainly something I am always looking for!

Affordable, too. I'm getting it. Thanks. I use drugstore cosmetics because fancy stuff is just too pricey for my budget.

I usually use cerave but it's nice to try something new.

Aww, I just restocked on Vanicream, which I planned to use AM and PM.  I do like the creaminess of the Aveno, though, so it may be suitable for PM. 🤔

@monicakm   Thanks for showing this. I've used it for quite awhile. There are times when I've overdone the Retin A, acids or peels and this line of cleansers/moisturizers relieve the redness and irritation.

Re: Aveeno calm and restore cleanser

I just grabbed two ELF cleansers, but I will definitely add this for the winter. Even though I don't have dry skin, in the winter it gets chapped and this may be a good one to have on hand for those times.  My grandaughter has skin on the dryer side and she loves a spa basket for Xmas and I think I may do an Aveeno basket!  Good heads up 😉

Re: Aveeno calm and restore cleanser

I like Aveeno.  I've been using Aveeno Positively Radiant Brightenng Cleanser in the shower for years.  For awhile it was hard to find because everybody wash pushing the ones that foamed coming out of the container, but I just thought of that as a fad thing.  I recently bought a new bottle.  They've changed the packaging and it's larger than the one I keep in the showerm but since I saw it and I was low, I grabbed it.  I haven't compared the ingredients, so I'm hoping it's the same.

I can't remember ever feeling like I needed a calming face cleanser.  I had one winter several years ago when my back was really itchy.  That's when I found a Eucerin body cleanser for itchy skin.  It worked, although there was something about the smell I didn't care for.  Thankfully, that problem went away.  But, I'll keep it in mind in case I ever do.

The one above would be more for my skin type. I like a foaming cleanser to remove make up, more of a cream cleanser in the shower.
