I used to go to a salon that used nothing but Aveda products.  I remember that I loved them at the time.  Don't know anything about them now.  If they are starting to carry these products, I will be interested to see what they have and what they offer!!

One of the first major brands that have been truly cruelty free, and now vegan (according to their website).

I thought someone else bought them years ago and that no longer holds true? Hope I'm wrong.

When I walk into an Aveda salon I could swoon it smells so good.

@Judaline   Yes.  Aveda was founded by Horst Rechelbacher, who later sold the company to Estee Lauder Companies.  However, Aveda has remained an autonomous company, despite being under the EL umbrella.  It's still very much cruelty-free to this day.

Aveda does not test ingredients or finished products on animals, and neither do their suppliers or any third-parties. They also don't sell their products where animal testing is required by law.

I go to an Aveda salon.  I do love the aromatherapy.  I am a WEN girl so I no longer use Aveda hair care, but I can say Aveda makes an excellent product.  I do love the lipsticks.  They are long-wearing and taste like peppermint.  The colors are vibrant; I use them more than any other brand lipstick in my repertoire.

Thanks for that-never tried the lipsticks!
