Auto ship on qvc is so great... you can skip a shipment without missing the next. Does anyone know if there is a way to do that onHSN??? It lets you change the date but not skip without canceling. Sometimes I just don't use a product as fast as they recommend and would just like to skip and not cancel or change date. Any help would be appreciated . You are all so knowledgeable about these things. I will call customer service as last resort. I don't always have the extended time it always seems to take when I call. Thank you all!

@Firecat1984 - I much prefer the auto ship plans with HSN.  For one thing, it isn't limited to a certain date and only one or two additional shipment and the plans end.  HSN autoship plans can go one for several years.  No, there isn't a skip option, but the ship dates can always be manipulated to ship sooner or later, based on the individual's needs.  What if I don't need something on a specific date, but will need it before the next scheduled ship date?  Theoretically, I could end up being without for a period of time, possibly several weeks.   I find that manipulating the date is much more preferable to skipping.

Good to know!

I only have one thing on HSN AD.  I had NO idea there was not a 'skip next' option.  I don't like that at all.

I have TONS on AD on Q...and use the skip quite often.  AND you can also manipulate the date as well.  I change it all the time, no issues.

I have had items on AD for several years w/ QVC.  It is not limited to only 1-2 more shipments at all.

@RespectLife - if you began those plans a long time ago, there may be a "grandfathered in" situation that you're the lucky benefactor of.  Nowadays, from what I've observed, either QVC or the vendor limits the amount of shipments and the plan concludes in a year.

Yes @JeanLouiseFinch

There are ones that have no end date and have been going on for years.

However, I have others that are not old that are close to 2 years showing.

No guarantee they won't cancel them at some point.

I agree with what you are saying, however if you move the date, it just keeps a running total. Once you reach 365..I know it's a year, but it will not allow anymore changes except to cancel. Just wondering,is it worth my time(always 20+ min) to call customer service,or is there just no skipping? Thank you so very much for your response,I really appreciate it!Smiley Happy
