I use Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides and I put it on my morning coffee. I think it's made a difference in my skin.

I use Ancient Nutrition, but I take it more for my joints than skin and nails (although I do have good skin and nails, so I'm sure it helps those too).  1 scoop is 10.1 grams and 9g of protein.   I find the ones that use 5 types of collagen (which many do not) work best for me.  I've also tried Codeage and a couple of others.  Ancient Nutrition I only buy on sale, usually a buy 2 get 1 free.

I dont use any collagen that contains tilapia, a farm raised fish, wild caught is a better, healthier option.

I too, use Vital Protein powder in my morning coffee, and have had amazing results!👍 I was a tad skeptical at first as I have read differing reports about the efficacy of collagen powder. Most were encouraging with thousands of testimonials, but some say the research is inconclusive and is mostly hype! I strongly DISAGREE! It has helped strengthen my nails; they grow long and strong, and my skin was quite dry, but is much improved!!!😊

I must be the strange one - tried 2 different collagen powders at 2 different times and after a few days, maybe a week, of using, I have never in my life felt such knee pain.  Holy cow it was bad.  Stopped doing the collagen powder and knee pain went away within a day.  Won't go near the stuff again.

I totally understand.
When I took Amadean Marine protein, I was fine.
Last year, I switched to Vital Proteins, and I've been a basket case.
My KNEES got "out of whack" again.
I can't walk well.
I'm thinking I need a protein powder with Hyaluronic acid in it ... if there is such a thing.

I was just looking on AMZN and found one with hyaluronic acid and a TON of biotin.
Biotin - 33,333% of the minimum daily requirement. That is ridiculous.
I read somewhere, you're not supposed to take that much biotin on a daily basis.

You can find hyaluronic acid supps in capsules, a separate purchase of course.

@RinaRina  - Tried a marine collagen powder from Andrew Lessman and Vital Proteins, both did not work for me.  As I said, the knee pain was unbelievable, stopped using the powders and within a day my knees were better.  Collagen powders are not for me, I guess.
