Basically when their career starts to go downhill they start a makeup, clothing or cookware line.

@cuddlesmama I've always wonndered what experience these celebrities could possibly have to formulate cosmetics/skincare. NONE. They go to a chemist, or an established line, who deveolps the makeup and Ariana, Kylie, Lisa Rinna's lip line, etc. just have their name on it.

Guess I can't blame her, Rihanna is a billionaire! Her Fenty line as well as her lingerie line is very successful. Plus, Ariana has fragrances (I think) so perhaps this is a logical step for her. Good for her!!
