In the wee hours of the morning, I was watching the Q and Maran.
On a consumer study, one of the results stated that "97% of consumers agreed that with continued used of the face butter, they noticed a reduction in pore size".
I don't remember hearing that pore sized would/could be reduced with this butter product.
What are your thoughts?

@San Antonio Gal - I don't use her products. However, years ago, I was plagued with congested pores via my experience with Philosophy products (Purity and Hope In A Jar). When I quit them and started using a cleansing oil dupe for Tatcha, everything purged and cleared up (like dissolves like). I currently use oils as part of my skincare besides other serums, moisturizers, and Tretinoin, and my pores are still fine. Some oils, like coconut oil, will cause enlarged pores if regularly left on the skin. When I use raw coconut oil for makeup removal I follow up with an actual cleanser.
I don't think I'd apply a butter to my face unless it was only on the occasion of me going out in the bitter cold to shovel snow or take a walk, but I'd wash my face well when I got back inside.

I personally am not fond of butters on the face. Too heavy for my skin.

The best thing for pore size is to keep your face clean.
I don't think face butter would make your pores smaller. Seems it would clogged the pores making them larger.

@Nightowlz - This is exactly what I thought. That's why I was very surprised about this consumer study.

Josie had a cream on last hour and said it will take your wrinkles away in 12 hours !!!

Keeping your face well hydrated also reduces the look of your pores.

Nothing will shrink pore size. Pore size is genetically determined and with age they get larger b/c of the loss of collagen where the sun does most of the damage gradually over a lifetime. Keep pores clean and wear sunscreen. That's your best options.

Last night I read some reviews & answers about the purported skin "tightening" effects of her Face Butter. One person wrote that "the ingredient list includes Xylitol", which is a "natural sugar alcohol found in plants". That's all I know, I don't use that cream.

I remember hearing other face care vendors say that if your pores are cleaned out, they will appear smaller. However, nothing will shrink pores.
