Then "penciling" in new ones with an eyebrow pencil???- some of them look really thick and a little too perfect --no one have absolutely identical eyebrows do they? I see a LOT of actresses and the hosts on QVC too that look like that's what they do.
I have a friend who goes to a brow specialist at least twice a month. She will not do her own plucking or brow maintenance! Her brows are perfect all the time.
She will use brow product and is really good at it! It's her thing.

Mine are a hot mess! I don't even think a brow expert could help me but I need one badly LOL!! I haven't plucked my brow hair since I was about 17yrs old....I didn't do a go job back then and over did it. They never grew back...I do the best I can with a brow pencil but it's not good looking compared to the models on the Q or most folks. So no shaving or tweezing my brow hairs (what few I have left) for me.
Whoever predicted the eyebrow business would explode like it has must be able to retire to Figi by now.
The salons, the products are unbelievably numerous and actually fairly reasonably priced. My 26 y/o daughter has hers done about once a month, plus she uses certain specific products and her brows are flawless. She's fair so for her, it really lights up her face, gives it dimension. She does not shave her brows.
That one pretty blonde IT vendor appears to be shaving hers and then penciling in new ones way up high on her forehead. She has a look of perpetual surprise. Jaime from IT always had those strange looking brows too so it must be an IT thing. They both seem very sweet so hey whatever makes them happy. My own brows are slowly disappearing so who knows what anyone has to say about the pencil job I do on them.

I have to laugh when Jamie and the other IT gals would talk about eyebrows. How they equate to beauty, etc. Sorry, but the loom of surprise, as you say, and having eyebrows that seem to be the first thing or only thing you see on someone's face isn't what I call beautiful. It just screams fake to me.
