I am tired of plain polish and am thinking of going back to a French Mani. I don't see them much anymore, but when I do I am reminded of how clean and fresh they look. Your thoughts?

@Jacie ... Yes, I always get French manicures. I don't care what is the current trend, I think French manicures are classic. I wear and do what I like.

I'm not usually fond of the term "dated", but to me, French manicures do, IMHO, look "dated".  (Sorry.)

It's been at least 10 years since I've had a French Manicure.  Occasionally I'll see one and think it looks really nice.  I've never cared for the ones that look like White Out on big square nails. Looks like Chiclets.

I have a friend who always wears a FM on her short square gel nails.  I've known her for 25+ years and I've never seen her nails any other way. 

What I really do not like are French Pedicures.

I haven't kept up on trends because my nails have been awful.  I am working on them with the Julep products and they are actually really pretty now.  So...what IS in right now for nails? Shape, length and nail polish type?

I've always thought they were so pretty.

I have heard that they are no longer "in style."

But I still think they are pretty when I do see them occasionally on someone.

And if they are pretty and you like them- who cares?!

And you can wear your hoop skirt with them lol!🤣

What I do is wear a sort of clear white or clear light pink all over )I do it myself That is pretty too!

I love french manicures.  Don't care if they aren't in style or look dated, I still like them and get them.

I have seen them around (have not done it myself, yet) with non-usual colors.  Instead of pink and white, you can go pink and gold, white and silver, any combo you want.
