Don't fall over, but there are nights, very few, that cleansing is IT!! I try to do my skincare by 9PM...mainly so my skincare products can soak in and not end up on the pilllow instead of my skin.

It's rare that in these days, I'm doing that much to make me so tired that I can't add my Retin A and/or moisturizer and eye cream.

As long as makeup (especially mascara since sleeping in it may break off lashes) is removed, there's no harm in occasionally skipping the rest of the routine. Yes, you heard it here.

@emmygrace  Yes, mascara is the worst and most time consuming. I'm not wearing it lately. Instead of mascara, I'm tightlining with a navy pencil...That's all the definition I'm willing to do.

Takes me less than five minutes - wash my face, brush my teeth and run a brush through my hair.

I always wash my face, unless I'm in the bed sick with a migraine. Some nights thats all I do, but usually I use differin and eye cream.

I think the tip from James Walsh is a good one though.

@ALRATIBA  Gotcha there!  You're not supposed to brush or comb through curly hair. One step deleted. LOL

@Shanus

Now you tell me!

Seriously - I have to brush out the gel and hair spray - I wash it in the morning.

Re: Are You Ever Just Too Tired To Do Your Nighttime Beauty Routine?

Lately, I've been trying to get in the habit of doing my routine right after dinner (which is a good thing since I also brush my teeth right after I eat as opposed to several hours later) and it's proven to work so much better!
