They both sound like cleansing conditioners, so are they the same thing?

Definitely not in my opinion. Tweak'd isn't advertised as a cleansing conditioner but a "self-cleansing hair treatment". I couldn't find a list of ingredients on the Tweak'd website except for references to a couple of natural ingredients and that it doesn't contain SLS. They have totally different application instructions - WEN is put on wet hair, Tweak'd foam is put on dry hair, let sit 5-10 min, then add water and more foam. WEN doesn't have any aerosol products because of awareness of air pollution, Tweak'd is in an aerosol can.

I see. They both certainly sound different. But it's basically the same concept, which is cleaning your hair without shampoo?

The only thing they have in common is neither contain SLS, but there are a lot of shampoos out there that are sulfate free.

Wen is a patented product, so until the patent expires none of the competition are going to be truly be like it.

Wen sometimes makes my hair too limp. So far I am really liking Tweak'd. It gives me lift, softness and controls my wavy hair.
