Applying Vit C...Day or Night?

I bought some powdered Vit C to mix with my moisturizer.  Is it better to apply AM or PM?  At night I use a little Clearasil on my chin, Nerium OR Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair and Neutrogena Revitalist moisturizer (in that order).  If I should use Vit C at night, should it still be used in that order?

I like to use it during the day because vitamin C has been shown to help protect the skin from the sun's damaging rays (even more so if combined with certain sunscreen ingredients).  My vitamin C also contains ferulic acid which has also been shown to protect the skin from sun damage so they are a one two punch.
