Anyone use the Beauty Blender?

I'm switching from BE to liquid foundation and need a new tool to apply it with. I was thinking of getting a brush to "buff" it on, I hate the flat brushes, but the SA at Sephora suggested the Beauty Blender. I've never used a spong to apply my makeup, so I don't know anything about this specific one. Does anyone use it and if so, why? Thanks for any info!
