Anyone use Mary Kay Skincare??

[ Edited ]

I saw my sister in law for the 1st time in a long time, and her skin looks amazing, she is 69 years old....She said she has been using Mary Kay skincare exclusively for almost a year now! Curious if anyone here is using, or has used?

She said the kit is 110.00 and it includes, day cream, night cream, eye cream and cleanser......

Re: Anyone use Mary Kay Skincare??

I have used Mary Kay for approximately one year now and absolutely

love it.  I am 74 years old and I am constantly getting compliments on

my skin especially with "no" wrinkles.  My skin feels amazing.  I use

all of their products and they are absolutely amazing.  No problems

anymore.  I have always had sensitive skin and basically couldn't

use anything on it.  But now, there's no stopping me.  My

consultant is wonderful.  If interested, let me know and I will forward

her info to you.  Enjoy!!!!!

I used it in the early 1980's  when I was first getting into skincare. It was a good basic system- most of my friends were still using bar soap so I  was ahead of the curve! Once I developed issues (pores, occasional breakouts, etc) it wasn't beneficial for me any longer. But I'm sure it's evolved since then.

I remember it was pricey- I signed up to be a consultant so I could get my product at cost. But $110 doesn't sound too bad for 4 products. Any serums or masks/exfoliants included? That'll be upcharges probably.

Re: Anyone use Mary Kay Skincare??

I can't use Mary Kay, but I think it is better for a dry/normal skin.

I have oily/normal skin & it's miserable trying to find something that works for me (Hydrating, smoothing) that does not break me out.

I am embarrassed to tell anyone that I just bought a 1oz jar of Creme de La Mer Moisturizing Cool Gel Cream for $190.

I got a sample from Nordstrom & my skin felt so good & didn't break out.

This is as happy as my skin has been for a long time & I am 60 years old!

Try the MK, but they may push you (Hard sometimes) to become a rep. I think their products are decent, I just don't agree with their sales tactics.

Still I would buy the products, if my skin loved them.

@Ibby114 No serums included in that price, only cleanser, moisturizer, night cream and eye cream. You have to pay extra for serums and retinol products!

@Dusty1 Inoticed on their web site, they now offer a system for normal/dry and one for normal/combo.....If I order it would be thru someone I work with already, and she knows better than to harass me about becoming a rep.....LOL!! But I know what you mean, they are notorious for that.....

@CANDLEQUEEN Mary Kay- as far back as I can remember- always had that option - normal/dry and  normal/combo. The rep I knew did a 'soft sell' to get me to be a rep. She was a coworker as well- beware! Woman LOL

Re: Anyone use Mary Kay Skincare??

@CANDLEQUEEN - I don't currently use it, but when I was young I did. I used only Timewise face wash and sunscreen and some of the makeup. During that time I treated myself to a facial. The salon sold very expensive European products. The facialist assumed I used those products. When I told her I didn't, she asked me what I did use. I told her MK and she said that it was definitely good for my skin!  Smiley Happy

Re: Anyone use Mary Kay Skincare??

MK is the best! I used to sell it.  I always did a soft sell, because the products are amazing.  There are cleansers for oily skin and they work great.

I don't sell it anymore, but I am still a rep so I can purchase for myself and a few diehard friends who simply love the cleanser for oily skin, and the skincare kits.

They also have a vitamin C serum that I love. When you become a rep you can purchase the items at half price. My skin has never looked better.

When i am out of MK products I use Philosophy products which I love as well.
