Anyone know of a cheaper version of the volumizing treatment spray?

I have been using a bottle of the TT volumizing spray and love it. I use a lot because I have very fine soft hair and need to thicken it up. It is just too expensive to use the way I do unless I get it in a special deal. The bottle I had was from Nordstrom Rack where it was not much cheaper but also saved me the shipping cost for a total of about $12. Still expensive, but not as bad as ordering each individually with shipping. I have used various thickening sprays but did not write down which were best. Some left my hair just too coated and some flaked off.

Thanks for any suggestions.

OK, I'll rephrase this. Does anyone know of a good spray on volumizer?

I remember reading of a poster who always diluted her VTS by half with water to make it last longer. She said it still worked well. HTH Smiley Happy

Thanks. It is worth a try but right now I am out. I'll go to Ulta to see what they have.

Thank you for the suggestions. The Andalou lavender sounds lovely and the advanced volume styling mist sounds like it might be similar to the Wen. I'll check them out.

Get some spray starch. Dilute it with water (equal parts).

I would Google it and I'll wager you'll see a ton of them. Like I said, always one in a crowd.

If you do decide to buy the WEN VTS again, do try diluting it. I do half & half with water, and it works great for me. I have thick, slightly wavy hair, cut in a layered, chin-length bob. You may not want to dilute it as much since your hair is fine, but even a third water would give you some savings.
