Anyone get their honey lilac CC yet? - Page 7

It smells exactly like my lilacs. Lilacs naturally have a clean refreshing scent that makes me want to sit outside and enjoy the soft scent enveloping me. My Honey Lilac just arrived and it is to die for!!! I actually put some on the back of my hand like hand lotion, it feels great and the scent is so wonderful and delicate. You smell it, but you're not overwhelmed - just like sitting outside with the blooming lilac bushes.

Oh can't wait to get it! mine is at least in my state now!...I hope Chaz will have the oil also...

they always offer a 3 piece kit that contains the cc, rtm and oil just not sure when this will be offered. I would imagine that you could also buy a 4 oz of the oil soon. I won't order this since I don't like floral scents at all but I hope that everyone enjoys it.

Oh thanks Susan, but you do like the Spring Orange Blossom right? I hope you are getting some of that so you can enjoy a spring scent also... I may get it in the 16 oz, but depends on how much I like the SHL...!

Yes, I like the SOB and already order a 32 oz size and have one opened 16 oz of SOB and 2 unopened 16 oz. of SOB that I haven't used yet. I may also buy one of SGGT to try and will buy another 32 oz of SOB sometime next month or at least while it is still offered.

Oh, I am so glad to hear this! Lilacs remind me of my childhood, so I find it very comforting.

I agree with you, Doherty (bolded statements). For me, it's not a "wow" scent like FTP or SHP, but still very nice, and not at all sweet (was afraid it would be). Haven't used it on my hair yet, but I did use a pump to wash my hands just to get the smell of it when it's wet--which is often quite different than when I just smell it in the bottle.

Upshot is, unless it works miracles when I use it on my hair I probably won't order any more...but I will enjoy my 32 oz. bottle!

I tried it this morning. The scent still wasn't overpowering but maybe still a little too floral for me after having to smell it in the shower for a while. I can pretty much use all of the seasonals and I didn't find that I got more moisture or shine from the SHL so I don't think I'll be buying more. I'll be counting down the days until I can get more SMC instead.

Thanks for the update...I think I will like the smell, glad it's not overpowering, but I would like just a little linger smell...all the seasonals I have tried I like, so am sure I will this one also.. SMC is one I haven't tried yet, but would like too..

I still smell it in my hair so to me it does linger a little bit.

SMC is my absolute favorite!

Does anyone know if they ever offer a OTO in the newest scent/formulation? Just curious in case there is a OTO in any of the March shows. Thank you.

Hello HD. Tracking through QVC is subpar for sure. I'm assuming you get your orders shipped through UPS. If so, track your package through ups.com instead. QVC still is notorious for creating labels far before the package is in fact picked up and on its way.

I use mainly seasonals and have so far used SOB, SHP, FTP, WCM, FAS and FGP. The only one I rarely use is the FGP, I love the smell but it just seems to make my hair feel dry.

I love FAS but can't use it regularly because it starts to weigh my hair down. My hair is great the first couple of uses then I need to leave it alone for a while.

SOB is good. WCM works great but not crazy for the smell.

FTP and SHP are my favs. They are both creamy but the FTP seems just a little lighter. They don't build up in my hair after multiple uses. I find the SHL very similar in texture and was very happy with how my hair dried. I have curly hair but some areas are curlier than others. I had no frizz, my hair wasn't poofy, yet the curlier areas seemed to really curl. I think this is going to be one of my regular formulas along with FTP and SHP.

As for scent, I love the smell of SHL and FTP more than SHP. I feel as if the scents improve with each new formula. It is difficult to get a scent that doesn't have any chemical/fakeness to it. Kind of like with perfumes, sometimes they start off smelling nice then dry down with some type of fake aftersmell. Different notes may unfold as you begin to add water to your hair but with no chemical like aftersmell. I had no idea that lilacs smelled this good.

Thanks but I DO track through UPS instead of my QVC account but it never updates and they rarely do until pretty much a day or two before delivery. I've never had this issue with ups except with qvc orders. Odd, huh? M y tracking still shows label created status on the 4th (or 3rd, can't remember which at the moment).
