Anyone experience break-outs after using SheaMoisture Smoothie?

I've recently started using the SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, thanks to the recommendations on this board. I'm really satisfied with the results - I'm able to let my hair air-dry and the Smoothie defines my natural waves without that "crispy" hold that many gels/hairspray give.

The issue I'm having, however, has nothing to do with my hair. I'm starting to break out horribly along my jawline, and I'm thinking it's linked somehow to the Smoothie. It's the only new product that I've introduced into my routine within the same timeframe.

Has anyone else had the same experience? I'd really like to continue using this product - but not at the expense of my skin, LOL!

Read the ingredients and see if you have a known allergy to any of it. Does your hair lay on your jaw line causing the transfer of the product to you skin? Use less product. Can you keep your hair off your face until the product dries?

I have issues with oils on my hair too. I think it's mostly if I use them after shampooing which is when you usually use them. I shower at night, and the wet hair is on the pillow - as is my face. Haven't found a good solution yet, so only doing anything suspect during the day and before showering so the pillow is oil-free.

I have been using this styling product for almost a year without any problems at all. I air-dry my hair after applying it (along with a dollop of a couple other products), also.

I wouldn't suspect this product as the culprit if you're breaking out on your jaw.
